Based in Nelson, Life Linc is a not-for-profit organisation which operates through the commitment of dedicated volunteers in the local community. 

We do not receive government funding and rely solely on grants, donations and fundraising initiatives to operate our vital services.

A governing board oversees the various processes and employs part time staff to ensure Life Linc is always able to provide a highly professional standard of practice.

Life Linc Nelson offers three different but complimentary services, delivered through a team of professionally trained counsellors:

Firstly, our Face-to-Face counselling offers 1:1 professional counselling to all couples and individuals in need in the community.

Secondly, our new Group counselling service provides a safe place for people to explore their thoughts and feelings, deepen contact with themselves and others, and explore ways to move forward. 

Finally, we run a variety of courses on listening and communication skills, which are continually revised and updated to ensure they are relevant and useful to people, and businesses, in the community.
