Based in Nelson, Life Linc is a not-for-profit organisation which operates through the commitment of dedicated volunteers in the local community.
We do not receive government funding and rely solely on grants, donations and fundraising initiatives to operate our vital services. A governing board oversees the various processes and employs part time staff to ensure Life Linc is always able to provide a highly professional standard of practice. Life Linc Nelson offers three different but complimentary services: Firstly, our Face-to-Face counselling team which has evolved over the years, reflecting the changes and growth within the community; Telephone counselling Currently under development. Finally, we run a variety of courses, which are continually revised and updated to ensure they are relevant and useful to people, and businesses, in the community. Life Linc Nelson is registered with the NZ Charities Commission; our number is CC26939 We welcome any donations and bequests from the general public.
